Exo was the PS2 game Particle Systems were working on when I joined. I started off producing general assets but eventually went on to become senior character artist. This was the first time I’d created low res textures from high res models. Its wasn’t as seamless and quick as it is now but it worked. So these are some examples of the high res models. Since the final textures were only 256×256 I didn’t go into great detail with the textures as it simply wouldn’t be seen clearly and would only help to muddy them.
